A long journey; a pilgrimage meant for someone else. The meaning of India revealed authentically. 3-year old kids begging for money, bodies being burnt at the shore. Dogs eating things that make you jump back in horror. More than that though, we see life. Warts and all. It’s not always pretty, but it’s nothing if not honest. I’m reminded of home, where death is a word that stops a conversation. Something awful. Here, it’s the other side of the coin; Here, life implies death as much as death implies life. Here, our eyes are forced open.
